Here is what Bret had to say about the kit: I wanted to say thanks for making such a cool 1/6 scale kit for the thunderboats. when I first opened the package I thought this is gonna take a while to build! But I soon realized that your kit gave me the abilitly to change or modify the parts and pieces easily to be able to customize it to fit my needs.
I did change the exhaust to 7/16 dowels with little tiny wooden spools that I found at my local crafts store but having the original balsa ones gave me the template that I needed. once I was done with the basic constuction and paint I just went to my junk hobby parts drawer and dressed it up. thanks again! - Bret |
